Wayne Bomesberger, 74, passed away October 8, 2015 at his home in Broken Bow, OK. He was born June 6, 1941 in Lane, OK, the son of Joe and Alma Bomesberger. He married Eve Halbert on October 31, 1961 in Marana, Az. Wayne started his twenty year career as a cotton ginner in Marana, AZ, later moving to Broken Bow where he worked as a plainer operator for Thomason Lumber Company until he retired. He enjoyed Hot Rod cars, hunting, fishing, camping, listening to live music and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Wayne leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Eve Bomesberger of Broken Bow, one daughter, Beth and son-in-law, Rex Jackson of Holly Creek, OK, two sons, Robert Bomesberger and daughter-in-law, Nancy and Jim Bomesberger and former daughter-in-law, JoAnna Lackey all of Broken Bow, two sisters, Ruthie and brother-in-law, Danny Brittain of Atoka, OK and Christene Marshno of Tucumcary New Mexico, one brother, Raymond and sister-in-law, Cynthia Bomesberger of Marana, AZ, grandchildren, Candice Lemons, Halli and Andrew Mitchell, Maici Chappell, Amanda and Lindy Lesperance, Gracie Howard, Drew Lackey, Kaelyb Norrid, Darron Norrid, Lexi and Matt Mason, Tamara Carter and Heath Carter, great- grandchildren, Colten Lemons, Ciarra Thompson, Danni Kay Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell, McKayla Cantrell, Kerrigan Allen, Camriee Kennedy and Maverick Mason , special cousin, James McClary and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandson, Jagger Wayne Thompson, brothers, Bill and Ralph Bomesberger, sisters, Farrie Mae New, Josephine McClary and Mildred Bomesberger. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Good News Fellowship in Broken Bow, OK. Dr. Doug Deramus will officiate. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 PM on October 9, 2015 at Brumley Funeral Home.
