Thelma Pauline (Branham) Taylor, 95, of Broken Bow, OK, passed away October 11, 2014. She was born May 11, 1919 to Ocie Calvin Branham and Annie Marie Rice, in Emory, TX. Thelma and Preston Taylor were united in marriage on November 9, 1935. She enjoyed quilting, growing flowers in the yard; she loved to cook for her family and have family gatherings; she also enjoyed arts and crafts. Most of all she loved her Lord and Savior and attending church and singing praises to the Lord. Her Bible was always by her side. Thelma is survived by her son, Ben Taylor, of Bernice, LA; daughter and son-in-law, Seleta and Ben Whiteman, of Broken Bow, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Wilma and Gus Satterfield, of Wichita Falls, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Waymon and Clara Taylor, of Broken Bow, OK; and son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Diane Taylor, of Stockton, CA; grandchildren, Byron Taylor, Tammy Ford, Michael Taylor, Mark Taylor, Peggy Milsap, Ben Whiteman, Jr., Gary Whiteman, Deleta Brumley, Trent Oglesby, Ronelda Oglesby Strickland, Lisa Tate, Kenneth Taylor, and Chris Taylor; and she is also survived by 34 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ocie Calvin Branham and Annie Marie Rice; husband, Preston Taylor, and 18-month old son, Darrell Taylor; granddaughter, Kimberly Taylor; grandson, Randy Oglesby; and special friend, Anna Mae Smithson.
