Pat Brittain Obituary (1938 - 2019)

Pat Brittain, 80, of Broken Bow, passed from this life surrounded by her loving family the morning of April 25, 2019, at her home. Pat was born July 8, 1938, to James Luther and Grace Pearlie (Jones) Cotney, in Williams, AZ. Pat was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, in Broken Bow, and had lived most of her life in Broken Bow. She enjoyed reading and cooking for family gatherings. Pat loved taking care of her kids and being with her grandkids. She always enjoyed having her friends and family around her, and bossing her kids around. Pat was known to have never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew her. Pat married the love of her life, Bill Brittain, on August 27, 1960, and shared a wonderful 45 years together until his passing in July of 2005. Pat and Bill always did everything together and loved being with their family. They also enjoyed camping and traveling together. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, James and Grace Cotney; and her loving husband, Bill Brittain. Pat leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Gerald Keith Brittain, and Darrell Wayne Brittain, and wife, Zella, all of Broken Bow; daughter, Brenda Castillo, and husband, Oscar, of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Heather and Kennedee Brittain, Andrew Sheets, Brooke and Jay Lindley, Tristain Brittain, Daniel Castillo, Felipe and Jacqueline Castillo, Jessica Hough, and Adan Castillo; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, at 10:00AM, April 29, 2019 at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, with Bro. Greg Curtis officiating. Interment will follow at Redland Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, from 4-6PM, April 28, 2019 at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow.
