Mischa Hill Obituary (1971 - 2019)

On Friday, July 19, 2019, our beautiful Mischa Leigh Hill left this earth suddenly. Mischa was born September 20, 1971, in Ada, OK, to Mike and Karen (Pike) Henthorn. Mischa was a member of the St. Michael's Episcopal Church and was a kindergarten teacher in the Oklahoma City area. She loved teaching and had a love for children that "showed on her face." Mischa also loved animals, believing "rescues were the best". She enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, and spending time with family. Mischa was a drum major and cheerleader at Western Heights High School from where she graduated in 1989 and went on to graduate from Oklahoma City University with a degree in Education in 2009. Mischa was considered a loyal friend. She loved openly and always with the love of Jesus in her gentle heart and if given a choice she would have been born a Pike and raised in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life Cody Hill on July 1, 2017, in Red River County. Mischa was preceded in death by her grandparents, R.D. and Dora Pike, Frances and Jean Henthorn; uncles, Jerry and Ricky Pike; and brother, Sean Henthorn. Mischa leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Cody; parents, Mike and Karen Henthorn; son, Nick Henthorn, all of Oklahoma City; brother, Kris Henthorn, and wife, Kelli, of Keller, TX; niece and nephew, Kendall and Keaton; uncles, Tom and Julie Pike; Roger and Darcy Henthorn; aunt, Patty Phillips; cousins, Jason Pike, Jamie Vinton, Mandi Huhta, Thomas Pike, Jennifer Pike, Josh Pike, Carrie Matthews, Jake Phillips, and Claire Henthorn; other relatives and a host of many friends. She will be missed by her family, friends, and co-workers more than we can fathom now but know that when we arrive in Heaven, she will be there to welcome us home. A Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, July 25, 2019, at 2:00PM at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with Olen Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. A Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
