Mamie Murray Butts, 90, of Haworth, OK passed away March 8, 2015 in Idabel, OK. She was born May 15, 1924 in Lamar County, Texas the daughter of Rufus and Addie (Yates) Deloney. Mamie was the oldest member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Harris, OK where she served as Financial Secretary for many years and sang in the choir. She believed in trusting her Almighty God, she loved the lord. Mamie had lived in the county most of her life. She was an avid fisherwoman and enjoyed visiting the sick, cooking and gardening. Mamie leaves to cherish her memory her children, Gary Murray of Dallas, TX, Erna Stewart of DeKalb, TX, Linda Murray, Pamela Murray both of Tulsa, OK, Glimerine Ware of Oklahoma City, OK, Beverly Permetter and husband, John of Seminole, OK, Shirley Fields of Harris, OK, Lois Jean Pigford and husband, George, Ruby Jewel Jackson all of CO; special daughter-in-law, Ann Murray of Annona, TX; sister, Essie Stepney of Hearne, TX; nineteen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Clemmie Murray; her first husband, M.C.
