Lifetime McCurtain County resident, Kenneth "Bo" Turner, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016, in Texarkana, at the age of 79.The son of Otis and Mamie (Raines) Turner, Bo was born February 15, 1937, in Golden, OK. Bo graduated from Wright City High School and met his wife of over 50 years at the First Baptist Church in Wright City. On July 12, 1956, Bo and Wanda McDonald were united in marriage at the Assembly of God Church parsonage in Wright City. He worked for the Wright City company store before moving to Broken Bow in 1978. Bo worked at the Norris Department Store for over 20 years, retiring in 1999. Bo was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Broken Bow and enjoyed being around his family and creating memories.He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of the home; one son, Randell Turner, and his wife, Ruthie, of Farmers Branch, TS; two daughters, Gala Calvin, and husband, Occo, of Broken Bow, Darla Yonce, and her husband, John, of Aiken, SC; one brother, Calvin Turner, of Sweethome, OR; four grandchildren, Steven Turner, and his wife, Aracely, Bojoe Grace and Kristy, Brenda Turner, Kirk Grace, and Angel; six great-grandchildren, Justin, Keira, Natalia, Christian, Jayden, and Alyson; numerous nieces and nephews.Bo was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Marie Taylor, Johnnie Lou Buck, and Jewell Doan.A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at 10:00, at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
