Judith Kay Ward, 68 of Broken Bow, OK passed away on July 20, 2012 at her home. Judy was born on October 25, 1943 in Idabel OK, the daughter of Oscar and Lola (Mitchell) Stafford. Judy and Wendell Ward were married for 25 years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, traveling, cooking and canning, as well as spending time with family and friends. Judy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Broken Bow and assistant Sunday school teacher, and was on the food committee. She was also a member and treasurer for the Harris chapter of the Oklahoma Home & Community Education organization and was the countywide secretary for OHCE. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell, parents, Oscar and Lola Stafford; grandparents, W.W. & Winnie Mitchell, and Oliver & Ella Stafford. Judy leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Billy Joe Hough and wife Lisa, of Broken Bow, OK; her daughter, Helen Wilbanks and husband Matthew of Arlington, TX; two brothers, Larry Stafford and wife Joyce of Broken Bow, OK; Robert Stafford and wife Carol of Broken Bow, OK; sister, Billie Stafford of Garland, TX; grandchildren, Cody Hough and wife Jessica, Garrett Hough, Emily Wilbanks, Madison Wilbanks; great-grandchildren, Kaden Hough, Brady Hough, Braelynn Hough; one uncle; many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.Cemetery:Inurnment will follow at Hochatown Cemetery; Hochatown, OK. \nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Judith K.
