Jackie Ricketts, 61, passed away, Sunday, March 3, 2013, at his home in Broken Bow. Born on June 18, 1951, in Ardmore, OK, he was the son of Bennie and Mytra (Nayler) Ricketts. Jackie and Charlene Sims were married on August 18, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV. Jackie was a proud member of the Patriot Riders, a motorcycle club with associates nation-wide, who give solid respect for those who risk and give their lives for America's freedom and security; he was U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Jackie was a former police officer for the Ardmore Police Department and a retired Oklahoma Highway Patrolman. Jackie enjoyed yard-work, hunting, and reading his Bible. Jackie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed. Jackie is survived by his wife, Charlene; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Trish Ricketts, Holly Creek community, Jon and Carrie Ricketts, Sanger, TX, and Corey and Jessica Bradshaw, Greedy, CO; two daughters, Kim Burton, Ardmore, OK and Tanya Bradshaw, South Carolina; one brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Betty Ricketts, Holly Creek community; grandchildren, Dixie, Destiny, Daisy, Dailey, Samantha, Lila, Niki, Cory, Ashston, Noah Ray, Layla, Garrett and Payton; great-grandchildren, Harlie and Aubrey; niece, Amy; nephew, David; and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Bennie and Myrta Ricketts; and son, Jacob Ricketts. Serving as Casket Escorts are the brotherhood members of the 'Patriot Guard.'
