Dolf Cress Obituary (1914

Dolf Cress, 100, of Hochatown, OK, passed away February 13, 2015, at his home in Hochatown. He was born April 22, 1914, in Tuttle, OK, the son of Earnest Joseph and Ida (Oehler) Cress. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nina Cress, on January 24, 2013; sons, John Mack Cress and Michael Taft Cress; daughter, Brenda Cress; brother, LeRoy Cress; and sister, Francis Cress Smith; two grandchildren, Brenda Camp and Jammie Camp; and one great-grandson, Michael Cody. Dolf and Nina (McCain) were married in DeQueen, AR, in May of 1939, and shared seventy years together. Dolf was a member of the Broken Bow Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and loved spending time with his family. Dolf is survived by one daughter, Linda Camp, and husband, James, of Smithville, OK; two grand-daughters, Vickie Perrin, and husband, Kevin, and Rita Peyton, and husband, Blair; grandson, Tracy Batchelor; five great-grandchildren, John, and wife, Sarah, Kyree, Morgan, Michael, and Brody James; six great-great-grandchildren, Brendly, Jagger, Kolbie, Rylan, Remlee, and Carlie Marie; two special friends, Opal Wilson and Ed Hutchison; and a host of other relatives and friends.Cemetery:Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
