Charla Elliott Carrell Obituary (1971

Charla worked seven years as a Detention officer for the McCurtain County Sheriffs Department and had also worked at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. She loved fishing, camping, sewing, reading, and spending time with her children. Charla was of the Pentecostal faith.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Lona Snow and Faye George.Charla leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Paula George, Wright City and Charles George, Valliant; three children, Cass Elliott, Wright City, Lance Elliott, Valliant, and Shammi Elliott, Wright City; one brother, Trent George and fianc' Rachel McKnight, Rockwall, TX; three nephews, Trace George, Shawn McKnight, and Tevin Lockheart; several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many friends.Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2008 at the First Assembly of God Church, Wright City, with Bro. Troy Ruffin and Bro. David Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Slater Memorial Cemetery, Wright City.
