Anne Maye Casey

Anne Maye Casey, age 71, of Cove, Arkansas, died Thursday, May 28, 2020, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on Friday, April 8, 1949, to Jessie Charles and Faye Lucille Martin Broach in Hatton, Arkansas.

Anne was a Christian woman who spent her life caring for her family. The love for her family guided her life and filled it with happiness. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, cookbooks, long nature walks, sewing, quilting, and camping with her family. Anne was very proud of all her family and cherished every moment she had with them. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Judy Joyce, and Loretta Miller; and three brothers, Alfred Broach, Jessie Broach, and Tom Broach.

Anne is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Douglas Casey of Cove; three daughters, Polly Dunce of Halesworth, England, Anna Hopkins of Cove, and Sara Woodcock of West Oneonta, New York; two brothers, Carl Broach of Vandervoort, and Glen Broach of Hatton; seven sisters, Betty Holly of Colorado, Frances Bates of Hatton, Margaret Miller of Cove, Doris Dixon of Hatton, Edna Dixon of Waldron, Peggy Wilkinson of Hatton, and Alice Catherwood of Puckettville, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, John Higgins of Mena, Heath Zanzeberg of Vandervoort, Marilyn Woodcock of West Oneonta, New York, Mia Dunce of Halesworth, England, Maleena Hopkins of Cove, Ethan Woodcock of West Oneonta, New York, and Ashley Hopkins of Cove; two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at 10:00 A.M. at the Cecil Chapel Cemetery in Vandervoort, Arkansas, with Don Youngblood and Joe Thibeau officiating. Burial arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be John Higgins, Heath Zanzeberg, Ethan Woodcock, Andrew Casey, Nicholas Ross, and Henry Wilkinson.
