Andrew Brian Hammer
Andrew Brian Hammer, age 31, of Hatton, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Hatton. He was born on Tuesday, June 30, 1987 to Butch Wayne and Leona Rutherford Hammer in De Queen, Arkansas.
Andy graduated from Wickes High School in 2005 and later became an auto mechanic. He liked all different kinds of music and he truly loved his mother. In his free time, Andy liked deer hunting, going fishing, and doing woodworking. His daughters were the apple of his eye and he loved every second he spent with them. Andy was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, uncle and a great friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Hammer; maternal grandparents, Donald and Clarace Rutherford; and uncle, Donald Rutherford.
Andy is survived by his father, Butch Hammer of Cove; his mother and step father, Leona and Jerry Robb of Hatton; two daughters, Lexi Hammer of De Queen, and Page Hammer of De Queen; paternal grandmother, Harvey Hammer of Wickes; two brothers, Danny Hammer and wife, Jessica of Wickes, and Curtis Hammer of Hatton; one sister, Olivia Hammer of Cove; several aunts and uncles, Harvey and Carolann Hammer of Gillham, Mary Snow and husband, Mike of Blain, Washington, and Linda Standridge and husband, Daniel of Malvern; four nieces and nephews, Colton, Marissa, and Spencer Hammer of Wickes, and Artemis LeAnn of Cove; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Wickes United Methodist Church with Brother Brian Richardson officiating. Cremation services are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
