Michelle Leann Wilhite

Michelle Leann Wilhite, age 26, of Acorn, Arkansas, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in Mena. She was born on Tuesday, March 24, 1992 to Eric DeVon and Janet Marie Fields Lunsford in Mena, Arkansas.

Michelle had a huge heart and was an extraordinarily loving person. She was extremely thoughtful and always loved first. Michelle worked at Atwoods for ten years and was proud of her recent work in Cosmetology. She was a member of FBLA, FFA, and the Mena High School Class of 2010. Michelle liked all types of music and enjoyed crafting, hiking, and spending time at the creek. She loved her French bulldog, Silas, and her family and friends, who were of utmost importance to her. Michelle was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and aunt and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eric DeVon Lunsford.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Tony Wilhite of Acorn, Arkansas; her mother, Janet Lunsford Shreve and husband, Kelly of Mena; one sister and brother-in-law, Maria and Jason Chism of Arkadelphia; four brothers, Nathaniel Lunsford of Lawton, Oklahoma, James Marshall Lunsford of Luke Air Force Base #2, Taylor Lunsford and fiance', Alyssa Castillo of Mena, and Dalton Thomas Lunsford of Mena; nieces and nephews, Cleo Chism and Zachary West of Arkadelphia, Makenzie Leonard of Cold Springs, New York, Mila West, Blayden West, and Talen West of Mena; in-laws, Tony and Nancy Wilhite of Acorn and Kathy and Tommy Cook of Acorn; grandparents, Loretta Stevens, Norma Fields Stricklin, and Arnold Lunsford; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena with Dr. Lance Sawyer officiating. A visitation will take place Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena.

Pallbearers will be Travis Cook, Jacob Wagner, James Looney, Eric Cross, Nathan Sloan, and Jason Chism.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
